Who we are
This notice explains how Thrivorn uses personal information from people who visit this website, make an enquiry or book a Contractor Growth Audit.
Thrivorn is a trading name of Giovanni Petrucci, sole trader. We decide how and why your information is used for these purposes, so we are the controller.
Contact: hello@thrivorn.co.uk.
This notice mainly covers people who visit this website, make an enquiry or book a Contractor Growth Audit, and people at businesses we contact first about Thrivorn (see "If we contact you first" below). If you have phoned a business that uses Thrivorn to answer its calls, see the section below: that business is the controller, and we process your details on its behalf and on its instructions. Its own privacy notice also applies.

If you try Mia
You can try Mia, our virtual receptionist (an AI assistant), by ringing our demonstration line. If you do, your voice is sent to Vapi and its AI speech and language providers so Mia can hear and answer you.
We see the number you called from and a short summary of the call, so we can follow up about Thrivorn if you were interested. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will not. The conversation may be recorded and converted to text. We use recordings only to check and improve the demonstration, and we delete them within 90 days. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (showing how our service works and improving it).
If you have phoned a business that uses Thrivorn
If a business uses Thrivorn to answer its calls, we collect what you tell the receptionist, such as your name, phone number, address, the work you need and how urgent it is, along with the number you called from. The call may be recorded, and you are told this at the start of the call.
We use your details only to provide this service to the business you called. We never sell them or use them to market to you. The business you called decides how your information is used, so please contact them first about your rights. You can also contact us and we will pass your request on and help them deal with it.
Who we share information with
We use trusted service providers to run Thrivorn. They may only use your information to provide their service to us:
- Twilio, for phone numbers, calls and text messages.
- Vapi, and the AI voice, speech and language providers it uses, to answer calls and understand what is said.
- GoHighLevel, for our booking calendar, customer records and email (sent through its email provider, Mailgun).
- Zoom, for Contractor Growth Audit calls.
- Cloudflare, which hosts our website and gives us cookieless visit statistics.
- Google, for Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- LinkedIn, where we connect and message on LinkedIn.
- Our accountant and HMRC, for tax purposes.
We do not sell personal information.
Some of these providers store data outside the UK, including in the USA. Where they do, we rely on the UK's adequacy regulations (including the UK-US data bridge) or the International Data Transfer Agreement and other safeguards approved under UK law.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it.
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| Call recordings | 90 days, unless the client asks us to delete them sooner or keep them longer for a specific reason |
| Enquiries that do not lead to work | Up to 2 years |
| Business contacts we approached first who did not reply or did not go ahead | Up to 12 months after our last contact. If you ask us not to contact you, we keep only your name, business and email address on a do-not-contact list, so we can respect your request |
| Client contracts, invoices and payment records | 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to |
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to: ask for a copy of the information we hold about you; ask us to correct information that is wrong; ask us to delete your information; object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it; ask for your information in a portable format; and withdraw consent, where we rely on it.
To use any of these rights, email hello@thrivorn.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Messages and marketing
We contact you about your enquiry or booking. We may send occasional updates about our service to clients and people who have enquired, to tell them about relevant features. You can opt out at any time, and we ask for consent where the law requires it.
If we contact you first
We sometimes contact people who run or manage construction and trades businesses to offer a free Contractor Growth Audit. We only email limited companies and LLPs this way, at an address the business publishes itself.
What we hold: your name, your role, your business name and address, the business email address and phone number it publishes, your LinkedIn profile address if we connect there, short notes about the business (for example its trade, location and recent work) and a record of our messages.
Where it comes from: your business's own website, the public Companies House register, LinkedIn, and news or trade directory pages about the business.
Why, and our lawful basis: to introduce Thrivorn and offer the audit, which we think is relevant to your role. We rely on legitimate interests (telling businesses about a service that may help them), and we keep contact short: one email and at most two follow-ups.
Your right to object: you can tell us at any time to stop. Reply "no thanks" to any message from us, or email hello@thrivorn.co.uk, and we will not contact you again. You can also ask to see, correct or delete what we hold.
We follow the rules on marketing calls, including the Telephone Preference Service and the Corporate Telephone Preference Service, and we do not call people who have asked us not to.
Cookies and similar technology
Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. Some are essential to make a site work. Others measure use or support advertising and need your consent first.

You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page; if you withdraw consent we delete the Google Analytics cookies on this site. We do not use advertising cookies, and Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off.
Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without storing anything on your device. Our website host, Cloudflare, also processes basic technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
